The noise from the late-night disco could be heard - not too loud, but the beat came through the fabric of the hotel

There was a couple of hotties working at the bar.
The window did not open; it wasn't designed to open, and I thought it was quite warm in the room.

The breakfast had a variety of options like coffee, fruit, cereals, and cheese. the setting was fantastic - very close to the Gründer restaurant. - We enjoyed goodies and coffee at Cafe Kringla, just minutes away.

Good breakfast. Good view from top floor. Good location central but not noisy. Indirect view of midnight sun (could read by sky light at 1 a.m.).
I don't think it would be fair not to mention this: the lift/elevator was not working. This was known when they took our booking but we only found out about it on arrival late at night, our room was on the top floor and there was no one to help with bags so we left the bulk of our luggage downstairs. On the second night we were given a much better room two floors lower. We also got a 20% discount for the inconvenience (and lots of exercise).

This hotel exceeded all expectations in every way, would recomand. It was easy to get Wheelchair Accessible room with good heating as well as milk and that's great. All the employees were caring and absolutely courteous: D

The day before I checked out I asked hotel staff if I could stay the next day until 18h because my plane to Oslao was at 8pm. The male person told me this was possible if I paid 100Kr per hour extra which was fine to me. Next day I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, my key was invalidated, I went to reception and the lady told that I had to pay for an extra night?!! I told her about my previous agreement and she shook her head but finally agreed with 100Kr/h. Not really nice to be confronted like that it also shows there is no clear policy regarding over stay.

I arrived very late, 4am, but they were ready and open and very helpful. When I phoned to warn them of my late arrival, they understood the situation and were efficient and helpful in keeping my booking.

Too much noise from nightclub situated in the basement. No tea kettles in rooms. A bit strange beds.

the rooms were well-organised and good-sized with required things, like baggage storage, a lounge area and a mini bar.
The staff was kind of rude.
